    Abstract: 沈從文之《邊城》是我國語體文學發展過程中，極具歷史意義與藝術價值的作品。其題材的選取和描寫的手法不僅為鄉土文學開創了新的寫實路徑，而且為三０年代尖銳批判的文壇風氣，注入了人性真與美的活力和希望。為了呈顯沈從文於《邊城》藝術構思及技巧上的卓越成就，本文首先從《邊城》故事背景，與湘西自然人文風貌的原型較論，解析作者創作意圖及架構。再從小說本身所呈現的宿命觀點，釐清沈從文精神思想的主體。最後通過歌與夢的藝術表現和分析，論述其浪漫寫真的具體成果。
