Title:	《說文》从人、从女諸字之探析

Abstract:	本文就《說文》中从「人」、从「女」諸字之字義進行考察，並將之對比，以探知兩者之差異。大抵而言，《說文》从「人」字346字，从「女」字251字，本文就其中字義具褒貶之義者家以析芬，得从「人」諸字「褒義」之用多於「貶義」，而从「女」諸字則相反，「貶義」之用多於「褒義」。本文同時考察从人、从女之「同聲符字」，得「人褒女貶」明顯多於「人貶女褒」，其間差異足見女性形象受到損抑。《說文》从「人」、从「女」諸字之別，實為「男」、「女」形象地位之異。從从「人」字中「褒義」之用多於「貶義」从「女」字適好相反的情形來看，男性地位確實高於女性。再究「从女字數量多」、「从女字多貶義」兩現象，說明女性形象受到歧視，而地位卑下亦為實情。
