Abstract:	本研究係在永續發展的觀點下，探討台灣環境保護管制政策執行績效。作者藉歷年來台灣地區環境保護之統計數據作為環境指標，並進而設計問卷，調查在第一線的稽查人員工作滿意度與環境管制政策執行間的關聯，研究我國政府在環境管制政策執行面上之成效與環境品質之關係。本文之環境品質指標為空氣、水質、廢棄物等三項；環境保護管制政策執行指標為人力、工廠登記數、罰鍰次數、罰鍰金額、稽查次數、金錢資源、公害陳情數等七項。經以統計套裝軟體SPSS（Statistical Package for Social Sciences）分析結果發現：政府在環境管制政策之策略上，以空氣污染管制政策最具績效，而在水污染及廢棄物管制政策方面仍有待加強，因此進而向政府當局提出相關建言。
