    Abstract: 微血管增生(angiogenesis)對於運動訓練提昇氧化能力扮演著舉足輕重的角色。肌肉組織發展出廣大的微血管網絡,肌細胞與微血管腔間的養份運送及廢物排除獲得改善,進而提昇氧化代謝能力。Prior, Yang, and Terjung(2004)指出分歧型微血管增生可能是運動訓練後微血管形成的主要方式。在分子生物的層級上,許多的生長因子與運動導致微血管增生具密切相關,包括血管內皮細胞生長因子(vascular endothelial growth factor, VEGF)、基礎纖維母細胞生長因子(basic fibroblast growth factor, bFGF)、血管生成素(angiopoietin)、轉型生長因子-β1(transforming growth factor, TGF-β1)及基質金屬蛋白酶(matrix metalloproteinases, MMPs),其中以VEGF不需其它因子的協助,可直接影響微血管增生最為重要。
