    Abstract: 人類的脊椎是由7節頸椎、12節胸椎、5腰椎、薦椎及尾椎連接而成;椎骨與椎骨之間,有一個椎間盤夾在其中,而31椎神經(頸椎神經8,胸椎神經12腰椎神經5對,薦椎神經5對,尾椎神經1對)分別由脊椎骨與脊椎骨之間的椎間孔伸出;正常情形下,脊椎是人體的中軸,垂直於骨盆上,支撐起肩膀、上肢及頭部,以肋骨及胸骨保護內臟。最重要的是於脊柱中負責傳達訊息的中樞神經,以及由椎間孔穿出的神經架構成一個緊密的系統,並維持身體各部正常的活動與運轉。因此維持脊椎健康的方法,除了規律的生活及均衡的營養外,同時也需保持端正的姿勢及適度的運動。
