Abstract:	嚴歌苓移民書寫關懷的是遷移寄居心靈面對不同文化差異的感知，及對此差異的高度疏離意識，認為是這個移民的特定現實存在狀態誘發內隱於人性的奇特敏感。本文以現象經驗紀實書寫的生命移植排異過程之〈女房東〉〈海那邊〉，與歷史建構想像書寫的百年魔幻時空之〈橙血〉〈魔旦〉，探討嚴歌苓如何以凝視（gaze）與差異（difference）的互成交疊作用，表達在多重凝視權力與差異敏感意識下追求自我主體的困惑與困難，藉以深刻描繪出移民處境下孤立異化的男性身影。
