      資源教室方案是一種部分時間的支援性特殊教育設施,此種教育設施通常基於一般課程之上,為就讀於普通班而學業上或行為上需要特殊協助的學生,提供教學支援,使能在學業或情意這方面獲得充分的發展。資源教室方案在我國特殊教育的應用,已有近十年的時間。目前主要運用於資優、聽障及學習障礙三類特殊學生。
      本研究的目的,主要在評估資源教室方案的實施成效。研究的方法係採訪問法,從資源班學生的個別訪問,進行質的分析。受訪的學生共有139位,包括資優學生58位、聽障學生34位、學障學生47位。訪問的主題有六:(1)學生心目中的資源教室;(2)學生接受資源教室輔導的理由;(3)資源教室的活動項目;(4)學生心目中的資源教師;(5)對資源教室的喜好裡度;(6)資源教室的成效。本研究的結果發現:
      1.學生心目中的資源教室是個輔導課業、幫助學生學習及增進社會情意發展的地方,顯示資源教室的實施,能把握應有的特質。
      2.學生大都瞭解為什麼到資源教室,反應學生對於自己的能力或缺陷有自知之明,另一方面也反應他們認識自己的需要。
      3.學生對於資源教師評價是積極的。大部分學生心目中的資源教師是和藹親切、不打罵、教學認真而能協助學生解決個人的困難。
      4.學生對資源教室,表示積極的喜好程度。
      5.整體而言,學生認為資源教室對他們是有幫助的,因而肯定了資源教室的實施成效。

    Abstract
      Resource room program is any kind of part-time supportive special education services which is based on the regular curriculum of mainstream. The subjects of these services are those students with learning /behavior problems. The purpose of resource room program is to provide teaching /learning support for students and their teachers in order to keep these students in regular class and to promote their academic and emotional growth. In the Republic of China, there are resource room programs for the gifted, hearing disordered and learning disabled.
      The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the resource room program through the eyes of the student. Fifty-eight gifted students, thirty-four hearing disordered students and forty-seven learning disabled students in the resource rooms were interviewed. The themes that ran throughout the vast majority of the interviews are: (l) What do you think about your resource room? (2) Why are you in resource room? (3) What do you do in the resource room?(4) What do you think of your resource teacher? (5) Do you like resource room or regular classroom? (6) What effects has the resource room program had upon you?
      Five conclusions are drawn from the data:
      1. The resource room, from the viewpoint of students, is a place for helping personal and learning problems.
      2. The hearing disordered and learning disabled students attributed learning or hearing deficits to themselves when asked why they were in the resource room programs. The gifted students gave reasons that due to their high IQ and needs for enrichment.
      3. Most students provided a positive evaluation of their resource teachers. They usually based their feelings on the social-emotional support given them by teachers.
      4. Most students provided a positive endorsement of their resource rooms.
      5. In general, most of the students believed that the resource rooms were helpful to them. They thought they were experiencing positive changes in academic or behavior growth as the result of their resource room placement.
