Abstract The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationships between "the temperament of child perceived by teachers parents" and "child-rearing practice". The subject of this study were 1267 preschoolers. The main findings of this study were: 1. There are postive correlation between activity, adaptability withdraw and persistence on the temperament of child perceived by teachers & parent. There are negative correlation between distractibility on the temperament of child perceived by teachers & parent. But the correlation cofficient is not high. 2. Father and/or mother use order, ignore, punishment etc. negative behavior change techniques toward the inappropriate behavior exhibited by child who has the following native temperament: very active, has a very strong emotional reaction, easy to be distract, has a hard time to adapt and do not persist.
