Abstract:	[資料來源: 博客來網路書店] 國小自然科學教學深受皮亞傑的認知和發展論的影響。皮亞傑(J.Piaget)將兒童認知發展階段分為(一)感覺動作期(0~2歲)。(二)具體操作前期(2~7歲)，(三)具體操作期(7~11歲)，(四)運思操作期(11~16歲)(Piaget,1963)。而小學階段正屬於具體操作期，因此小學自然科的教學亦以實際操作為基礎，而著重於從做中學之基本理念。　　國小自然科學教育是國家科學教育的奠基工作，自然科所涉及的知識領域相當廣，而兒童的個別差異也很大，所以擔任自然科的教師，必須根據各教學單元的內容特性，運用不同的教學法。本書期望能對小學教育有所啟發，作為改進教學蓋括性提示，同時也提供教改專家有系統的分析資料。
