Abstract:	洪棄生，譜名攀桂，學名一枝，字月樵，清同治六年（1866）十一月十一日生於臺灣彰化鹿港，昭和四年（1929）辭世，得年六十三歲。日人領臺以後，杜門不出，數十載筆耕不輟，作品豐富，斐然可觀。儘管沒有經學專著，然而所著〈禹貢水道解〉諸篇以及《寄鶴齋詩話》、〈讀變雅詩說〉等，能從實用與時代的角度出發，擺脫純粹解經注經的繁瑣，賦予經書積極與指導性格，誠可謂善於「用經」者。本文擬就洪棄生論《尚書》、《詩經》相關意見著手，探討其學說大較與在經學史上的意義。
