Abstract:	「叢書」與「類書」、「政書」、「方志」、「總集」、「選集」等同為整理編纂圖書文獻之重要方式。我國今存叢書約三十餘檯。每一叢書所收錄圖書，少則數種，多則數百種，中國古籍，大部分均可自「叢書」中取得，因此，「叢書」為文獻資料之淵藪，治文史學者，莫不用及「叢書」者。惟「叢書」之功用雖宏，缺失亦復不少，如不知其體例及缺失，取資文獻時，難免有所疏失。歷來綜論「叢書」之專文甚為罕見，本篇旨在討論「叢書」之起源、類別、價值、缺失及檢索「叢書」之目錄等，俾學者取用「叢書」文獻之參考。
