Abstract Art therapy (AT) has been a therapy of choice in the field of mental health for may years. However, there are little references centered on the intervention of AT with children of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). A review of articles on ADHD's definition, causes, prognosis and treatments are concluded in the first and second parts of this article. In the third part, art therapy statedgies/programme with children of ADHD of different functioning levels are designed. The author suggests that parents of ADHD should be actively involved in the treatment; only when there are a consistant treatment plan and close connections within parents, school and medical center, a better treatment outcome could be expected.
