Abstract:	本文概要說明自一九八○年代以來，各地區因應國際間競爭之需求，改進自身的科學教育，並在國小階段發展出新的課程標準及新教材。各地區的教材內容及教材發展情形有許多值得我們借鏡之處，展望未來，我國國小科學教材的發展亦應在理念精神、內容重點兩方面進行必要的調整，以提升國小科學教育的品質。
