Abstract:	本文首先是在說明何謂科學哲學，接著說明科學哲學的三大範疇。作者針對大家較為熟悉的科學哲學思想介紹其內涵，並且舉出其限制性與問題所在，以及產生演變的歷史因素。接著依照年代整理出西方的科學哲學主流。作者舉出兩個科學史的發展案例說明科學的發展並非依循固定的模式，進一步闡明演化論論點。最後作者提出幾個研究發現，說明科學哲學的研究之趣味性侑重要性：第一是有關哥白尼的死因問題，第二是提到愛因斯坦所具有的建構主義思想，第三是討論有關科學的客觀性之爭議，最後則是分析科學哲學對科學教育之貢獻。
