Abstract:	資訊科技融入教學是現代教育不可忽視的課題，近幾年來對於資訊科技融入教學的研究頗多，但在社會領域上的著墨卻不多，或雖其主題為資訊科技融入社會領域卻也只是提及資訊科技融入教學的定義，並未真正給予資訊科技融入社會領域適切的定義。因此，本文先概述資訊科技融入教學的意義，再引出資訊科技融入社會領域教學的意義與內涵，試圖給予從事社會領域教學教師一個較為清晰的認知概念，以幫助教師掌握資訊科技融入社會領域教學的精神，提供教師在資訊科技融入社會領域教學上之教學參考。
