Abstract:	文字是人與人進行溝通與傳達意念的重要媒介，更是兒童進入閱讀世界的基本功。對於學童的識字教學，若能讓學童瞭解字之構形原則和演變過程，激發他們的學習意願，對於學童各方面的學習將有莫大的幫助。在識字教學上，教學者與學習者使用的識字教材，扮演著舉足輕重的角色。本文從兒童識字發展歷程理論切入，針對適合學齡前及國小學童的識字教材，在識字教學法之應用上，進行分析探究，期能提供教學者教學之參考，以增進學習者之學習成效。
