Abstract:	新時代知識的力量(The power of knowledge in the new era)，如排山倒海沛然莫之能禦的架勢。全球化的趨勢如雷霆萬鈞，席捲整個地球。面臨如此巨大變遷的挑戰，對政治、經濟、文化教育都產生許多衝擊，為了適應國際社會的快速變遷，探討全球化的發展是一種趨勢，它與本土化或鄉土化是否會產生衝突或矛盾是本文探討的主題，其次是分析全球化對教育發展的衝擊，並研擬因應的策略與措施，俾利教育改革發展之參考。
