Abstract:	隨著升格整併直轄市的宣布，臺灣即將邁入由五個都會區為主軸所組成的都會生活圈時代！每個都會區的發展或許各有特色，但是其所面臨都市發展的科技化與全球化的趨勢卻是一致的。都會區的學校應如何因應科技化與全球化趨勢提出具體作法，是重要課題。本文將先透過瀏覽全球教育/國際教育等相關網站與文獻探討，借鏡各國的策略與做法，提出都會區教育局處推動全球教育的12項具體作法，以提供即將成型的各個都會區教育行政單位推動全球教育之參考。最後，簡介臺北市全球教育白皮書的內涵，並以之為例完整說明因應「都市全球化」、「都市發展科技化」等兩項都會區的發展趨勢，都會區教育局處應有的全球教育願景與務實作為。
