Abstract:	教育測驗與評量是評估教學成效，改善教學活動，以追求卓越之學習表現的重要工具之一；然而，面對都會區異質多元的人口組成特性，如何在公平的基礎上，針對來自不同文化、社經地位與家庭結構的學生進行教育測驗與評量，亦是都會學校不可忽視的重要課題與挑戰；換言之，「如何使都會區學校教育測驗與評量兼顧卓越與公平性？」這個問題是所有從事都會學校教育的工作者所必須面對的核心議題。本文的主要目的，就是對此一議題進行的深入探討；在都會學校的脈絡下，本文將先從評量前的學習與準備之重要性談起，之後，進一步說明評量的形式與評量的設計與實施應注意的面向，最後，探討評量結果的應用及可能的後果。
