    Abstract: 本研究旨在發展統計量數的臆測教學活動,並從實踐中探究學生尋找量數規則及意義化的過程,希望藉由臆測的探索過程了解統計量數所代表的意義。教學設計是以三種神祕光譜儀代表三種統計量數(中位數、眾數及全距),給學生臆測光譜儀的功能並對光譜儀進行命名,藉以了解三種量數的規則與意義。研究發現此種不同於往日的臆測教學活動,學生能從猜測、檢驗、與修正的過程中找出光譜儀的功能(即量數的規則),且能用直觀的語言來嘗試命名,更從命名活動中了解三種量數的數學意義。
